Day 1
Brisbane to Cairns Tilt Train or The Sunlander to Cairns

Tour departs Roma St Station as per The Sunlander or Tilt Train timetable (meals during train journey are at own expense).

Day 2 - (D)
Arrival into Cairns

Enjoy the social side and scenery on-board your rail experience today. Tilt train passengers will be served dinner before arriving into Cairns tonight. Sunlander & air passengers will enjoy dinner at the resort. Tilt Train passengers meet and greet at Cairns Station where you are transferred to the Cairns Discovery Resort for a 5-night stay. Passengers arriving by Sunlander Train or air, please make your own way to the Resort.

Day 3 - (B, L, D)
Kuranda; Army Duck tour; True Blue Aussie BBQ; Cairns Scenic Skyrail

Our day commences with a journey by coach to Kuranda where on arrival we take a trip of a lifetime on the Army Duck amphibious vehicle, with an experienced driver/guide, learn the mysteries of the ancient ferns and trees, spot a variety of native fauna and flora in the rainforest. Spend some time at the famous Kuranda markets before experiencing the True Blue Aussie BBQ for lunch, and then joining the scenic skyrail for a breath-taking ride over the rainforest canopy back into Cairns.

Day 4 - (B, L, D)
Daintree; Port Douglas; Cape Tribulation; Coconut Beach Resort

Today we start early to experience the Daring Daintree! Head North to Port Douglas stopping briefly for a photo opportunity at St Mary's church by the sea. We then pass through Mossman and head to the Daintree River where we cross via one of only a handful of passenger carrying ferries operating in Australia today. Continue through World Heritage Rainforest of the Daintree and Cape Tribulation National Parks, continuing to the Coconut Beach Resort for a tropical buffet lunch. Enjoy a guided stroll along the secluded Cape Tribulation Beach. Finally we stop at the Alexandra Lookout to experience views of the Daintree River and Coral Sea, then go back across the river and return to our Motel in time to freshen up for Dinner.

Day 5 - (B, MT, L, D)
Lake Barrine; Yungaburra; Curtain Fig Tree; Mareeba

Today we take the outback track crossing the Tablelands to our first stop at the Volcanic Crater - Lake Barrine. Enjoy a smooth Lake Cruise then delicious morning tea of scones, tea & coffee. We now continue to Yungaburra before visiting the famous Curtain Fig Tree, then back onboard to the picturesque Malanda Falls before lunch at the Historic Malanda Hotel. A chance to browse the local stores, then it's on through the town of Atherton and into the Mareeba Heritage Museum. Return to our Motel in Cairns for Dinner.

Day 6 - (B, D)
Green Island Optional Day Tour

FREE CHOICE DAY... A visit to Green Island is popular, however it is a weather permitting day tour. Today is your free day to do as you please. Enjoy the beautiful surrounds of the resort or catch the local coach for some shopping. See the reception staff for optional tours on offer. (Lunch own expense)

Day 7 - (B)
Journey Home

Farewell breakfast together before being transferred to Cairns Railway Station for our return journey on the Tilt Train to Brisbane. Passengers returning by air are welcome to use this transfer coach for airport drop off. Please arrange flights after 10am.
