Day 1 - (AT, D)

Scenic Rail, Blue Mountains
Depart your home port arriving in to Sydney for a meet and greet by Pegasus Coaches. Transfer to coach at Sydney Airport and drive to the beautiful Blue Mountains. Afternoon tea and tour Hydro Majestic Resort. Arrive and check-in at the Red Leaf Resort Blue Mountains for 3 nights.
Day 2 - (B, L, D)
After breakfast we visit the spectacular Echo Point Lookout. We will take a ride on the Scenic railway which descends into the Jameson Valley (it was once used to transport coal and miners from the Katoomba Coal Mine) and take a short bush walk (paved walkway) to return to the top via the Skyway. Spectacular views over the Three Sisters and the Jameson Valley escarpments. This afternoon we take a tour along Cliff Drive which follows the cliff tops around Leura and Katoomba offering spectacular views. We visit some beautiful private and public gardens in the area.

Day 3 - (B, L, D)
After breakfast free time to explore the delightful village of Leura with plenty of interesting shops. Visit local gardens with beautiful springtime displays. After lunch at the Wentworth Falls Country Club, we visit the Edge Giant Screen Theatre at 2.15pm to see the "The Edge" movie, an awesome movie of spectacular views.
Day 4 - (B, L, D)
After breakfast we cross the Blue Mountain Plateau, to visit the historic village of Hartley, and then continue on to Mount Piper for an informative guided tour. We visit the entire site where you'll see the turbines, transformers and the operations room. Back on the coach and we head for Bathurst to enjoy lunch in the heritage listed AMP building Lamplighters Restaurant. We then continue to Cowra on the Lachlan River to see the World Peace Bell awarded to Cowra in 1992 and visit the renowned Japanese Gardens and Cultural Centre to stroll through the delightful gardens. Tonight we stay at the Countryman Motor Inn.

Day 5 - (B, L, D)
Cowra, Yass, Canberra
After a hearty country breakfast we continue our tour of Cowra, visiting the POW Theatre at the Cowra Information Centre and driving down Sakura Avenue, 5 klms of flowering cherry trees. We then travel across rich, rolling farmland to Yass, a historic town, for lunch at the RSL. Finally, we arrive in Canberra for a four day stay.
Day 6 - (B, L, D)
After breakfast we visit the extensive Canberra Floriade display. Lunch will be at the Deck Restaurant with views over Regatta Point. This afternoon we have a guided tour through the National Capital Exhibition which tells the story of the making of the National Capital. This afternoon also includes a visit to the War Memorial, a highlight for many, and we take a guided tour through the extensive memorial including the Hall of Memory, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Pool of Reflection and the Roll of Honour followed by a moving closing ceremony.

Day 7 - (B, L, D)
After breakfast we take a tour around the many international Embassies before visiting Parliament House for a guided tour, which includes a visit to the Senate and House of Representatives and covers a very interesting history of the role and function of Federal Parliament. You may even arrange to meet your local Federal Representative there! Lunch will be at the Southern Cross Yacht Club before we enjoy a Cruise on Lake Burley Griffin and see up close the Carillon, a three column belltower that was a gift from the British Government to mark Canberra's Jubilee, and the Captain Cook Memorial, a 150 metre water jet.
Day 8 - (B, L, D)
After breakfast we visit Cockington Green Gardens which contain a fascinating collection of miniature buildings from all parts of Great Britain. All constructed in finest detail and in perfect scale, they capture the true feel of life in a British village. Also the International section features buildings from all over the world. The gardens are particularly beautiful at this time of the year. We then travel on to Goulburn for lunch at the Goulburn Brewery, a historic and interesting venue where we can partake of the boutique beers brewed there, as we dine. Continuing to Bowral, with time to visit the Corbett Gardens and the Bradman Museum, before we finish the day at the Berida Manor. Dinner at the Berida Manor.
Day 9 - (B, L)
Leisurely breakfast before we depart Bowral. Then its north to Sydney and our flight home to Brisbane, the end of a wonderful, flower-filled tour with lots of unexpected extras!
