At Fun Over Fifty we are incredibly fussy when it comes to selecting our on-road crew. Our hosts, hostesses and drivers are the face of Fun Over Fifty out and about, and represent our travel and customer service philosophies. You’ll always see them with a smile on their faces and they’re always ready for fun and adventure as well as to lend a hand when needed.
Our Expert Coach Captains/Guides – When it comes to passenger comfort and safety we make no exceptions. All of our drivers meet our strict criteria; their safety record is unblemished, their road experience second to none, and you’ll find their commentary informative and entertaining. It goes without saying that all drivers employed or contracted by Fun Over Fifty are licensed by the applicable road and traffic authority in their state or territory and have the right to drive Public Passenger Vehicles. When scheduling our yearly calendar of touring and allocating tours to drivers, we have a strict fatigue management plan that ensure drivers are well rested. And our General Manager of Coach Operations is available 24/7 to assist with or manage any issues that may arise on tour. Our Coach Captains have access to our Coach & Driver Manual to ensure compliance to company policies, and road and transport authority laws. This manual covers our company requirements and standards in relation to drugs and alcohol, driver training, driver fatigue, fleet maintenance and customer service.
Tour Hosts – At Fun Over Fifty we’re a little different, our select group of hosts and hostesses are not tour guides, they travel on our tours purely to ensure that everyone enjoys a smooth, hassle-free holiday. Our hostesses bring a little bit of old school glamour to our touring programs. They are selected for their professionalism and first class customer service skills. You’ll find that they welcome you with open arms making you feel immediately at ease travelling in a group environment. You’ll see our hostesses assisting the driver and working closely with our suppliers throughout the tour to ensure you all have a wonderful time.
