This iconic regional produce event showcases the famous Cherry which has been part of the landscape around Young for over 150 years. Board our luxury ‘Gold Class’ coach and travel responsibly knowing all coach emissions are 100% offset. We travel south breaking for morning tea at Kingscliff before continuing to Maclean for lunch. Our afternoon takes us through Coffs Harbour to Port Macquarie where we enjoy our first evening as a group.
Today we take in the stunning scenery of the mid north coast, farewelling Port Macquarie and making our way to the vibrant heart of the Barrington Coast region, Forster, where we break for a cuppa. We continue, passing Pacific Palms, Seaham, and Morpeth before enjoying lunch at Beresfield. We then make a pit stop at the iconic Big Ugg for a whimsical photo opportunity before exploring the Museum at Mortels Sheepskin Factory, the birthplace of the beloved boot. As the day unfolds, we indulge in a wine and cheese-making experience at Hunter Belle Cheese Room in Pokolbin, immersing ourselves in the flavours of the region. Finally, we complete our day with a seamless check-in at Mercure Resort Hunter Valley Gardens.
This morning we visit Tocal Homestead for a guided tour of this beautiful heritage site. Hear stories of the characters and activities at Tocal over the past 200 years. See the famous barn the colonial architect designed, hear about a lad who went on to become Captain Thunderbolt. Our afternoon is spent in Maitland where we take a guided tour of heritage listed Maitland Gaol. Once housing some of Australia’s most hardened and notorious criminals, today the Gaol has unlocked the gates for us to explore the site. Our evening takes us to the Hunter Valley Gardens for the annual Christmas Lights Spectacular where over 2 million lights are on display and our evening includes a sumptuous Christmas dinner on the Garden Terrace.
Today we travel through the Goulburn River National Park to arrive in Bathurst. We take our coach on a spin of the Mt Panorama Circuit (events depending) then continue on to Cowra.
Today the Cherry Festival in Young presents a fabulous full day of quirky and colourful festivities including farmers markets, a car show, busking competitions and dog trials. We also visit Poppa’s Fudge and Jam Factory then finish up our day at the Cherry Festival Street Parade, one of the largest in regional Australia.

Leaving Cowra we make our way to the Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo for lunch and a guided Savannah Safari tour.The zoo is an open-range design, with walls and fences replaced by concealed moats which divide the animals from the visitors, creating the breathtaking impression of actually being with the animals in the wild.
Today we head north through Coonabarabran, Narrabri and Moree to arrive in the cotton capital of Goondiwindi, nestled on the banks of the Macintyre River. After checking-in there’s time to take a refreshing dip in the pool before meeting for dinner
This morning we take a tour of Goondiwindi, learning about the local cotton industry. We then travel to Toowoomba, breaking for lunch with a view at Picnic Point. We arrive back into Brisbane at approximately 4.30pm.

Our coach tours have a baggage restriction of 17kg per person (regardless of flight and rail allowances) due to our Occupational Health & Safety standards. You can also bring one small, soft carry-on bag not exceeding 30cm wide, 30cm high, and 15cm thick that may be stowed in the overhead compartment.

Our Gold Class coaches have a seat capacity of between 44 and 46, but we cap Gold Class tours at 40 guests per tour. Our Diamond Class tours have a capacity of just 26 guests.
