Day 1    (D) 23 March Melbourne

Join us as we discover some of the hidden charms in Melbourne and surrounds. Arrive into Melbourne Airport early afternoon to board our opulent ‘Diamond Class’ coach as we make our way into the hub of Melbourne.

5 Night Stay: Crowne Plaza, Melbourne CBD, River View Rooms

Day 2    (B,L,D) 24 March Melbourne, Werribee

Arriving at Werribee Mansion, we take a guided tour unveiling the Italianate-style architecture and Victorian period interiors along with a garden tour of the Victoria State Rose Garden, home to 5000 roses. After lunch we take an off road safari at Werribee Open Range Zoo, taking in the sights of the savannah discovering wildlife including zebras, giraffes, the rhino and inquisitive meerkats.

Day 3    (B,D) 25 March Melbourne

Enjoy a free day today to discover the Melbourne of your choice. Wind your way through the many laneways in the city or shop up a storm. Stroll along cultural Southbank to the Botanic Gardens, the world is your oyster today, there’s so much on offer in this multicultural city. Tonight, we dine aboard an elegant colonial tramcar and take in views of the streets of the city and outer suburbs during a traditional silver and white linen service whilst savouring the flavours of the seasonal menu.

**Please note: There will be a 10-minute walk from our hotel to the tram car and return.

**Lunch is at own expense today.

Day 4    (B,L,D) 26 March Melbourne, Dandenong Ranges, Belgrave,

Discover the Dandenong Ranges, travelling through picturesque low mountain ranges.  We arrive at Belgrave to board the Puffing Billy. Travelling first class, we enjoy a three-hour steam train journey whilst  savouring a delicious lunch in fully enclosed heritage dining carriages. As the train whistle signals entrees are served before we cross the historic Monbulk Creek Trestle Bridge.  The journey continues through temperate rainforest chugging through dense fern foliage and wide-open fields. We arrive at Lakeside Station where we have time to disembark the train and explore the park which is home to abundant birdlife. We then re-board for our return journey finishing off with dessert before returning to the CBD.

Day 5    (B,D) 27 March Melbourne International Flower Show

Today we take in the Melbourne International Flower Show. Staged within the world heritage-listed Royal Exhibition Building, this prestigious show is a colourful  celebration of our Australian lifestyle and great outdoors.  Delve into this world of floral mastery before reuniting tonight for a night out at Her Majesty’s Theatre. A majestic experience as we dine before enjoying the latest performance on offer.

**Please note: at the time of going to print Her Majesty’s Theatre show schedule for 2019 has not yet been  eleased.

Day 6    (B) 28 March Melbourne


A leisurely start to the day before we make our way to Tullamarine Airport for our respective flights home.
