Warbirds Downunder returns to Temora in 2020. Witness the remarkable collection of historically valuable military aircraft that are all kept in airworthy condition and are flown on a regular basis. Temora Aviation Museum has displays devoted to telling the story of the pilot’s who worked in Australia’s defence and the aircraft throughout history. A 2-day gold class entry with reserved grandstand seating will ensure you are positioned along the runway as the skies light up with dramatic action and acrobatic skill.

Board our luxury ‘Gold Class’ coach at Brisbane Transit Centre where we make our way via the rich fertile crop growing region of the Lockyer Valley. On arrival at Warwick we take a brief tour of the historic Abbey of the Roses ex convent before enjoying morning tea. Back on the road we travel to Goondiwindi, arriving in time for lunch. Our afternoon takes us through to Moree where we stay for the night.
1 Night Stay: Artesian Spa Motel, Moree
A travel day today. We hit the highway and make our way to Coonabarabran for lunch, stopping en-route at Narrabri for a break. This afternoon we again break at Dubbo before arriving in Parkes, where we bed down for the night.
1 Night Stay: Station Motel Parkes
We board the coach and travel to Temora for a full day of action at Warbirds Downunder Airshow. Today, enjoy gold class entry to ensure you are positioned right in the best seats to witness all of the aerial displays. Your gold class ticket entry includes grandstand seating along the runway and a souvenir program. This airshow promises plenty of air action as well as on-ground displays featuring classic warbird aircraft such as Spitfires, Tiger Moths, Boeing EA-7 Wedgetail, RAAF F/A-18 Hornets, Russian Roolettes to name only a few. This afternoon, we travel a short distance to our hotel in Cootamundra.

**Lunch at your own expense at the air show. Cootamundra is the closest quality accommodation to the event. Aircraft appearing and the full program of events will be made available after this brochure goes to print and is subject to change.
Today we make our way back to the airshow in Temora to take in more explosive, exhilarating and dynamic aerial displays. Your gold class ticket for today, will again ensure you are right in the action. There are plenty of food vendors within the gold class enclosure as well as private facilities. After another day of exhilarating action, we return to the hotel to freshen up before dinner. **Lunch is at own expense today
Depart Temora, we make our way to Yass where we break for a morning tea. We then head into the Southern Highlands, breaking at Big Merino, followed by lunch in Goulburn. This afternoon we arrive in Bowral, taking a visit to the Bradman Museum encompassing the International Cricket Hall of Fame. See cricket brought to life with interactive touch screens, an expanded range of displays featuring original and match used equipment, and five huge video screens which place cricket in the context of world history. We then make our way to our beautiful accommodation venue overlooking a rolling green golf course.
1 Night Stay: Gibraltar Hotel, Bowral
Before departing the Southern Highlands, this morning we take time to shop or sight see in Bowral town centre, before departing mid-morning to journey to Gosford for lunch. After enjoying lunch, we continue our journey north arriving in Newcastle to check into our accommodation. There will be time this afternoon to relax by the pool or go for a walk on the Honeysuckle Harbourfront where the hotel is situated.
2 Night Stay: Rydges Newcastle
A leisurely day today, getting to know Newcastle. This morning we take a one hour tram tour with full commentary as we tour the city, beaches and historical sites. Next, we visit Williamtown RAAF Base to discover ‘Fighter World’ which showcases numerous famous aircraft and is dedicated to preserving the proud history of fighter aircraft operations in the Royal Australian Air Force. After we enjoy lunch together, you can enjoy free time this afternoon in town to do some shopping or sightseeing.
Departing Newcastle, we are back on the road, taking a cuppa break at Bulahdelah before continuing on to Port Macquarie for lunch. Our afternoon takes us onto Grafton via a short leg stretch and comfort stop at Coffs Harbour. Tonight, we bed down for the night in Grafton.
1 Night Stay: Quality Hotel, Grafton
Leaving Grafton we start our final leg of the journey towards home. We hit the highway and continue north stopping at Tropical Fruit World for lunch, a delicious fruit tasting session followed by a tractor train plantation ride. We then head for home making our way back to Brisbane Transit Centre.
