Melbourne Cup Day – the race that stops the nation! Don your fancy hats, dresses, suits and ties in readiness for cup fever. This morning we visit Werribee Park Mansion; one of the largest and most opulent properties in Victoria. Explore the beautiful rose gardens before we tour through the mansion. We then make our way to Shadowfax, a boutique winery featuring renowned varieties and enjoy a tasting and sumptuous lunch. After lunch, we continue to Werribee Open Range Zoo. Here you can take time to visit the Australian Trail and then step onto the African Trail featuring gorillas, lions, hippos, monkeys and meerkats. The zoo also boasts a safari bus which gives you the best views whilst you learn about some of the world’s most endangered species as well as the zoo’s conservation efforts.
This morning we have one last opportunity to take in a Melbourne icon, with a visit to Queen Victoria Market. Taste the freshest produce and purchase local wares to take home at this famous site. We then board the coach, farewell the city and make our way to the airport for our respective Carbon Neutral flights home.

Jump onboard our coach to experience an overnight Zoofari experience at Taronga Western Plains Zoo (Dubbo), where we witness unforgettable wildlife, immersing yourself in the wonders of the animal kingdom. Choose between an animal view or bushland view room and listen to the sounds of the wild. As the sun rises we join a guided Zoofari tour enjoying a delicious breakfast before heading to Griffith. We explore the Hermits Caves, visit Yangas Homestead in Mildura, view the heritage land mark Willandra Lakes whilst winding through the Grampians region. Take in the intriguing Silo Art Trail along the way before overnighting in Halls Gap as we make our way towards Melbourne.

Our coach tours have a baggage restriction of 17kg per person (regardless of flight and rail allowances) due to our Occupational Health & Safety standards. You can also bring one small, soft carry-on bag not exceeding 30cm wide, 30cm high, and 15cm thick that may be stowed in the overhead compartment.

Our Gold Class coaches have a seat capacity of between 44 and 46, but we cap Gold Class tours at 40 guests per tour. Our Diamond Class tours have a capacity of just 26 guests.
